At the last summit with the participation of the leaders of the countries of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, the leader of the country pointed to the current unity of states that previously acted separately.

He noted the importance of strengthening joint work against the backdrop of the unstable situation in the world. According to the president, now is the chance to create a common space for growth that will connect the Central Asian countries, the South Caucasus and Afghanistan.

To implement these plans, it is necessary to build a reliable system of interaction through specialized institutions and the launch of long-term programs. The priority areas are the improvement of trade, economic and transport interactions, the expansion of industrial chains and the creation of investment platforms in the “Central Asia Plus” format.

The main goal of the region should be to become a center for science and work with big data. This status can be achieved through the integration of human resources, artificial intelligence technologies, data centers and energy facilities.

Among his priorities, he also named the development of common digital services that can be used by all countries in the region.

Mirziyoyev paid special attention to climate change issues. He noted that climate risks directly affect the economy, public health, water and energy security, and called on the countries of Central Asia to jointly develop long-term solutions to adapt to these challenges.
