Tashkent discussed energy efficient projects with ACWA Power

Khokim of the city of Tashkent Shavkat Umurzakov held a meeting with the chairman of ACWA Power Mohammad Abunayan. The negotiations were devoted to expanding cooperation in the energy sector and the development of investment projects in the capital.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources, modernization of urban infrastructure, as well as the introduction of modern technological solutions aimed at increasing energy efficiency.

Particular attention was paid to the possibilities of applying sustainable energy and infrastructure approaches in Tashkent, consistent with international practices. Areas related to increasing the efficiency of urban systems and the development of environmentally oriented projects were considered.

Following the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on the further development of cooperation and agreed to continue developing initiatives with a view to their practical implementation.
