Uzbekneftegaz will develop measures to stop the decline in gas production

Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz Abdugani Sanginov held a meeting on investment, hydrocarbon production and a stable supply of energy resources to the population. About thisreportedcompany press service.

At the meeting, the results of the enterprise’s work for the first half of 2026 and plans until the end of this year, which were previouslypresentedhead of state.

The main priority is preparation for the autumn-winter period for uninterrupted supplies of natural gas and petroleum products to citizens, enterprises and social institutions.

The specialists are tasked with expanding the resource base, preventing a decline in production at existing fields and increasing the efficiency of geological exploration. Special attention is paid to digitalization of processes and improvement of the geological data analysis system for making effective management decisions.

Responsible persons were instructed to formulate in advance the requirements for materials for work in 2027, as well as to develop proposals to increase the production of jet fuel. In addition, the task has been set to provide farms with a sufficient amount of diesel during the cotton harvest.

To stabilize gas production volumes, it is planned to take measures at the facilities of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department. By the end of September, the full launch of small compressor stations at the Shimoliy Berdak and Sharkiy Berdak fields is expected, along with the completion of work on the improvement of the surrounding areas.

Following the meeting, the head of the company demanded that the heads of departments strictly adhere to the deadlines for commissioning new wells and infrastructure facilities, as well as fulfill the established production targets.
