A 100 megawatt solar power plant will be built in Andijan
The khokim of the Andijan region, Shukhrat Abdurakhmanov, met in Moscow with the General director of Zarubezhneft Sergey Kudryashov, the press service of the regional khokimiyat reports.
At the meeting, a memorandum was signed on the implementation of a project for the construction of a solar power plant with a total capacity of 100 megawatts in 2024-2026 in the Andijan region (at the first stage, 18 megawatts for $ 18 million). The total cost of the project will be $100 million.
Along with this, the head of the administration of the Andijan region held talks with the management of the subsidiary of the Rosatom state Corporation — Special Energy and Zarubezhneft JSC on the implementation of a project for the processing of household waste and electricity production worth $ 100 million.
