Electricity production in Uzbekistan in January - July 2025 increased by 3.1%

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (Uzdaily.uz)-in Uzbekistan in January-July of 2025, 49.39 billion kilowatt hours of electricity were produced, which is 3.1% higher than the same period last year.

At the same time, large enterprises reduced the production of electricity by 14.58%, to 36.62 billion kilowatt hours.

At the same time, for the first seven months of the current year, 12.77 billion kilowatt-hours produced, which is 2.53 times more than 2024.

In parallel, a decrease in the production of thermal energy at large enterprises was recorded: in January - July of 2025, they developed 12.41 million gigacalories, which is 11.7% less compared to the same period last year.
