In Uzbekistan, the production of green energy exceeded 20% of the total volume

As of September 23, the solar and wind power plants of Uzbekistan in 2025 developed 8 billion kWh of electricity.

Currently, 12 solar photoelectric stations and 5 wind stations with a total capacity of 4,682 megavatts are operating in the country.

Due to green energy:

- 2 billion 424 million cubic meters of natural gas were saved;

- The release of 3 million 552 thousand tons of harmful substances is prevented into the atmosphere.

From the beginning of the year to September 23, all hydraulic, solar and wind power plants of Uzbekistan have developed 13 billion 220 million kWh of electricity. This means that green energy accounts for 22% of the total generation of the country.

This volume is equal to the nine -month needs of 7.3 million households or the annual consumption of 5.5 million households.
