Solar power plants with a capacity of up to 500 kW/h will be launched in “difficult” mahallas

A presidential decree “On additional measures to support low-income families through the construction of small solar power plants in ‘difficult’ mahallas” has been adopted, reports the Ministry of Justice.

The document provides for the creation of small solar power plants with a capacity of 300–500 kW/h in ‘difficult’ mahallas as income-generating assets.

To finance this project, $110 million will be allocated from the Reconstruction and Development Fund.

In addition, a draft decree will be presented, outlining plans for the design of construction works for these small solar power plants, conducting state expertise, selecting the contractor organization through a tender, and organizing construction and installation works.

Alongside this, the procedure for commissioning and managing the small solar power plants, as well as the distribution of funds received from the sale of generated electricity, will be defined.
