Uzbekistan produced 40.76 billion cubic meters of natural gas in January-November

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — In January-November 2024, Uzbekistan produced 40.76 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is 4.7% less than in the same period last year, according to the Statistics Agency.

The volume of oil production decreased by 7.3%, amounting to 657.6 thousand tons against 709.3 thousand tons a year earlier.

At the same time, gas condensate production increased by 1.7%, reaching 1.11 million tons.

A significant increase was recorded in coal production: volumes increased by 27.5% - from 5.75 million tons to 7.33 million tons.

The production of motor gasoline amounted to 1.18 million tons, which is 2.4% less than in January-November 2023. At the same time, diesel fuel production decreased by 2.9%, reaching 912.4 thousand tons.

It was previously reported that Uzbekneftegaz plans to produce 26.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2025.
