Uzbekneftegaz JSC signed a four -way agreement on sustainable development and decarbonization as part of a visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (Uzdaily.uz) - in the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the city of Astana - the official visit of the delegation of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, led by the Chairman of the Board.

The visit was dedicated to participating in the Astana International Forum, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as to sign a four -sided

Cooperation agreements in the field of decarbonization and sustainable initiatives.

The document was signed between Uzbekneftegaz JSC, JSC NK Kazmunaygaz, Tatneft PJSC and SOCAR (SOCAR). The agreement is aimed at implementing joint projects to reduce a carbon trace, promoting environmentally stable solutions and introducing advanced “green” technologies in the oil and gas sector.

Partnerships between Uzbekneftegaz JSC and JSC NK Kazmunaygaz demonstrate progressive development and go to a new qualitative level. Cooperation covers key areas: conducting exploration, developing a gasochemical complex, localization of production and the introduction of innovative technological solutions focused on environmental safety. The parties confirmed the mutual interest in the further expansion of the interaction and implementation of new joint initiatives, which emphasizes the strategic significance of partnership for the sustainable development of the energy sector of the two countries.

As part of the visit, a number of bilateral negotiations of the delegation of Uzbekneftegaz JSC with the leadership of PJSC Tatneft and SOCAR were also held. During the meetings, the current state of joint projects was discussed, as well as promising areas of interaction - including exploration, the development of gas chemistry, the introduction of advanced technologies and the implementation of stable energy initiatives.

The visit confirmed the high level of mutual trust between national energy companies and has become a significant stage in strengthening regional cooperation in the context of a global energy transition.
